I first started driving a cab in 1993 in Boston....I had just graduated from art school so I knew that the world was my oyster, my BFA would enable me to write my own ticket....And by that I mean that there would by a variety of service industry jobs open to me...In 1997 I moved to Chicago and several years later produced two little picture books about the taxi life in Boston...I called it "Hack" and I thought that would be the end of it....However in 2003 I found myself fed up with the restaurant and bar jobs which had occupied me for the previous seven years, so I went back to driving a cab...I hope to use this space to occasionally write about my experiences behind the wheel....
